AstroRP Staff Rules

General Conduct

Treat all players with respect and professionalism—staff should set the example.

Do not abuse powers (e.g., spawning items, noclipping for advantage, god mode in RP).

Avoid favoritism—staff must remain fair and unbiased at all times.

No drama in staff chat or public channels—handle disagreements maturely.

Staff Responsibilities

Help players when needed, but don’t spoon-feed them every answer.

Stay active and engage with the community, but don’t forget to enjoy the game too!

Use ULX/commands responsibly—do not kick, ban, or freeze players for personal reasons.

Always record/screenshot evidence before issuing punishments.

Do not ignore admin sits—handle them in a timely and fair manner.

Make sure you cloak and god when on-duty.

Roleplay & Administration

When on-duty, you are not participating in RP (unless using a Staff-on-Duty job).

Do not interfere with RP unless there is a rule being broken.

Staff should not use their powers to benefit their RP character (e.g., spawning money, weapons, or teleporting for personal gain).

If you are playing as a normal player, do not punish others for rule breaks—call for another staff member instead.

Punishments & Enforcement

Use verbal warnings when appropriate before issuing formal punishments.

Always follow the punishment guidelines—don’t go overboard.

Do not argue with another staff member’s decision in public—bring it up in staff chat.

If banning a player, provide a clear reason and duration in the ban message.

Staff Hierarchy & Chain of Command

Follow the chain of command—report issues to higher-ups if needed.

Do not overstep your authority—if a situation is beyond your rank, escalate it properly.

If a higher-up tells you to do something, listen unless it's unreasonable or against the rules.

Reporting & Staff Activity

Report rule-breakers or major incidents in the staff logs.

If you're going inactive, notify management—being inactive without notice may result in demotion.

Do not discuss bans, player reports, or staff decisions in public chats.

Abuse & Consequences

Staff caught abusing their powers will be warned, demoted, or banned depending on severity.

If you see another staff member abusing, report it with evidence to a higher-up.

No one is above the rules—even high-ranking staff will face consequences for breaking them.
